You may have noticed that the posts on this blog have slowed down quite a bit. You would be right – I have decided it is time for a change. I am still trying to decide whether I want to close this blog down all together or move it in a new direction. For right now I feel the need to focus on my family and take a bit of a hiatus from this blog.
I want to sincerely thank all of my followers and readers. I have enjoyed sharing deals and money saving tips with you for the past four years.
So I would like to close right now not with a farewell but with a – see ya later as I still feel like I have more to share but just really feel the need to take a break for a while.
Thanks again for all of your support through the past couple of years. I couldn’t have done it without you!

When my children were preschool age these books were an all time favorite at our house. They loved the stories of their favorite songs made into a book. I bet if I read these books once I read them a hundred times. So fun as we could sing/read these books together. I highly recommend them especially for only $5 each at The Mini Social today.
Here is the list of $5 books I highly recommend from the Charlesbridge Publishing sale:
-Row Row your Boat
-Itsy Bitsy Spider
-I’m a little Teapot
-Twinkle Twinkle little Star
-Oh where, Oh where has my Little Dog Gone
-It’s Raining, It’s Pouring
This book Twinkle Twinkle Little Star my daughter loved soooo much I actually had a friend make her the nightgown just like the girl in the book and gave it to her birthday. She lived in that nightgown for the next year!

My daughter has recently really taken an interest in drawing. I am thinking this book would be up her alley. Have any of you tried these books by Ralph Masiello? I have been told he make great art books. You can get this one as well at The Mini Social for $12. Shipping starts at $6.95.

I just bought myself this deal today through Mamasource. For $20 you get $40 worth of Sun Wear from Baby Banz and shipping is FREE. This site has lots of fun stuff including:
-UV Rash Guard tops starting at $22
-UV Swim googles starting at $15
-Ear muffs/headphone protectors for kids to wear to concerts to protect hearing for $30
But my favorite that I wanted to purchase this deal for were the are these really cool Sun Sense bands you see pictured below priced at $7.99 for a box of five.

Both my girls went to swim camp last summer and both learned a hard lesson about the importance of reapplying sunscreen throughout the day. They both got a nasty sunburn. So I thought this summer we would try these Sunsense bands that let you know when it is time to reapply your sunscreen. They say they are waterproof and will turn the color brown when it is time to reapply the sunscreen. Since I can’t be there at camp with the kids I figure this is the next best thing! Have any of you used these, if so what did you think?
Go here to get this deal today at Mamasource for $20 you get $40 worth of Baby Banz sun items and it includes FREE shipping.
Don’t forget that 5% of every sale goes to the favorite school of your choice when you buy a Mamasource deal. Plus if you go through Ebates first you will get 3.5% cash back on your purchase.

I have a child that has sensory issues and I know that there are many of you that do as well. Soft Clothing is one of my favorite lines of clothing as their clothes are just what they say SOFT! It is so hard to find clothing that my daughter does not complain about being too itchy or uncomfortable. This is something I do not have to worry about with Soft Clothing line so I am happy to report that Zulily has a sale on Soft Clothing today.

The tee in the top picture is priced at $8.99. I have to say my daughter has one of every color of the Soft Clothing dresses. I didn’t even know they had a yellow one. Guess what I am buying today? There are four of the Soft Clothing dresses in different color choices available today at $12.99. If you have not bought from Soft Clothing before I promise you will be impressed with the quality and just how really soft their fabric is!
Plus here are two Zulily discount codes you can use:

Mamasource has Yubo lunch boxes today for $17. These are great lunch boxes as they are super easy to clean. You just take out off the paper inserts and pop them into the dishwasher. For those of you that pack lunches you know how icky your kid’s lunch boxes can get with sticky jelly or just crumbs. So I love the convenience of throwing a lunch box into the dishwasher.
So the deal is for $17 (these retail for $30) you can get a Yubo lunch box. Shipping is $7.
My favorite part of buying deals form Mamasource is that 5% of every sale goes to the favorite school of your choice. Plus if you use Ebates you will get 3.5% cash back on your purchase.
